The newly re-designed Ibanez SR1400e Premium series bass, features mahogany at it's core with a figured maple top for added beauty and enhanced tone. Equipped with Nordstrand "Big Single" pickups and a custom 3-Band EQ, this bass can handle anything you can throw at it. Also features the Mono-ail V bridge, 24 Medium Frets, Abalone Oval inlays and Gold Hardware.

The SR1400 is more than just a pretty face, this bass is made to be played. The lightweight SR style body has always know for its smooth lines and comfortable, ergonomic shape, able to be shouldered on stage for hours with minimal player fatigue. The Atlas-4 5-Piece neck is made of Wenge and Bubinga and receive the "Premium Fret Edge Treatment" which each fret end is rounded and smooth.

Nordstrand "Big Single" Pickups & 3-Band EQ

The SR1400E may have a slim body, but it delivers plenty of tone. Like their namesake suggests, Nordstrand's "Big Single" single coils are massive, and so is the sound they deliver. Described as Jazz Bass tone on steroids, these pups deliver a big low end punch but still have plenty of clairty and harmonic richness on the high end. Combined with the Custom 3-band EQ, there is little this bass can't handle.
