Custom Gibson EB-0 1973 Faded Cherry HC

Nice bass- looks like it wasn't played much, maybe spent a lot of it's time in a window somewhere, as the cherry red has mostly faded from the top. Neck is pretty straight, some hump where the neck and body meet, which is not uncommon, but plays pretty well, and is priced reasonable. Frets are excellent. The finish on the back of the body has some orange peel, which could be factory, or could be from interacting with the case or bag it was in- it blacklights fine, and doesn't appear to have been oversprayed. Frets are excellent, and appears fully original. Pots date code at 3rd week of 1973, has the bridge cover, all the parts look factory. The tone cap is a little tropical fish cap, but the solder joints look original. It came to us with no case, we have a 70's brown Kramer case, square, that fits it really well so the Kramer case is going with the bass. It could probably use a set of strings. As it is, ready to boogie on! 43 year old Gibson EB-0 under a grand!  Thanks for looking!
