Custom Fender Jazz Bass 1971 Sunburst

We found a great looking and original 1971 vintage Fender Jazz Bass in Sunburst finish and good condition. This wonderfull bass is also a lightweight instrument, only 3,95 kilos... Hardware is original, pickups are originals, painting and finish are originals. Only solder joints on the pots and electronic were redone and the jack input were changed... And it comes with its original black tolex case in good condition.

This great looking Jazz Bass from 1971 has its originals pickups is in perfect working condition, with a good output level and great sound. The original 1971 dated pots are correct for this period as Fender bought also some stock from Stackpole (pots code 3047116. Neck stamp is missing, as it arrived sometime... The original tuners and original bridge and hardware are in perfect condition and works fine.

The instrument has been recently 'tuned up,' adjusted and inspected to ensure that it sounds as amazing as it did in it's original glory. This bass is in good condition showing a lot of playing wear and dings and dents mostly on the sides of the instrument. Original frets are in excellent shape with lots of life left in them. Neck is smooth, and has a very comfortable medium rounded profile. Nice fast action. Amazing playability.

The bass produces one killer bass sound. You can roll off the treble if you like. That wonderful round low end thump that only a Jazz Bass can give you. Being lightweight and having the very fast and thin A neck, it is a real JOY to play.
