Custom Fender '62 Precision Bass 1983

This is a "vintage player's" 1983 Fender '62 Precision Bass we recently received in trade at Fret Mill Music Co.  It had been heavily modified with a Kahler bass tremolo (required routing), had a DiMarzio pickup, was strung left-handed (with a strap button on the treble-side horn) and had the wrong knobs.  The neck was also severely bowed.  The neck has been heat-treated and is slightly more bowed than we would like, but drastically improved.  It has a new nut and the DiMarzio has been replaced with a new Fender '62 Precision Bass pickup.  We replaced the knobs with new Precision knobs and we left the Kahler tremolo.  Includes original Fender tweed case.   Typical wear, nicks, scratches and scars (all pictured) for a player's bass of this age.
