Custom Ukulele -- a unique Cigar Box Guitar style instrument made with a Retro Lunch Box

A playable Ukulele...made with a Lunch Box? Yes, really. 

This is a One-of-a-Kind instrument that incorporates a unique found object. I got lucky and discovered this all metal, reproduction of a vintage lunch box at my favorite re-sale shop. The box is in like-new condition and has been sealed shut in order to enhance the sound and eliminate unwanted buzzing. When played this unusual uke has a surprisingly sweet and warm sound. 

So far, this is my favorite sounding uke. I almost don't want to sell it, but I prefer that it go to a good home where it will get played often by someone who is a better uke player than I am. 

This Uke was built as an acoustic instrument but it can be amplified quite easily by using a contact piezo pick-up. This is a legitimate musical instrument that doubles as an oddity or curiosity. So when you're not having a great time playing with it -- you can hang it on a wall and it becomes this cool, retro, folk-art, conversation piece.
