Some instruments that are more rare often deserve this response. "Why did they not make MORE of these?" This Epiphone Newport elicits that type of reaction. Why have we not been seeing this in guitar shops all this time? It is such a fantastic and simple design, smaller than a J or P bass.

All mahogany body and neck with some great looking nitrocellulose checking all over. With flat wounds on it is FULL sounding. Not a lot of top end when the tone is all the way up, but roll the tone down and it does not become muddy. There is still plenty of attack. This is a fine sounding and playing instrument that has been under represented in the vintage market. We cannot figure out why. Hard case included.
