Custom Dobro Dobjo / Dobro-banjo mid1980's sunburst

Dobro Dobjo Dobro-5 string banjo circa mid 80's serial db0018. This is a very interesting hybrid instrument , plays well and has a mellow tone. This one has had a few mods, including a spider bridge in place of the biscuit bridge it originally had, and the hub cap is changed as well. Might have produced a bit more volume according to the previous owner. There is a repaired crack in the shoulder as pictured with some finish issues in that area as well due to the crack, it is stable and doesn't effect play-ability. You don't see a lot of these around but it is much more than a curiosity. No case but will be packaged with care for a safe trip via fedex fully insured in the CONUS with adult signature required at time of delivery.
