One of the most versatile basses on the market. The 4402 DELUXE features a quilt maple top on Ash body. Loaded with the Lakland MM/J pickup configuration and custom 3-band preamp, The same preamp as used in the US-made 4-94. The controls on the 44-02 are Volume, balance, treble, mid and bass control, the master volume pot can be pulled to bypass the active preamp. The 44-02 has also a 3-way toggle for coil splitting. Solid Ash body, maple neck and rosewood board and string through body option on the bridge. Fantastic tonal versatility with everything from modern compressed ping and snap to retro passive tones. The neck is outrageously slim and fast to play on, these basses are Plek'd for absolute precision fret heights so they set up low and play like a dream.
