Blues Angel Music is pleased to offer this Eastman MD515 Classic F-Style Acoustic Mandolin w/ Hardshell Case! It has never been owned and is an in-store demo model with very minor cosmetic imperfections. A slight surface scratch on its top underneath the strings can deteced upon close inspection, but it's otherwise perfect. Minor finish flaws equal HUGE savings! The mandolin you see is the one you will receive! We invite you to view its pictures carefully and to contact us with any questions you may have.
Eastman Mandolins, Mandolas and Mandocellos have become the instruments of choice for many professional musicians as well as musicians who play solely for their personal enjoyment. Eastman Mandolins are available in the two traditional body shapes, the A-style (teardrop/ European style), and the F-style (bluegrass style). Both body styles are available in oval hole and F-hole models.
The mandolin of choice for traditional bluegrass and country players, Eastman F-Style Mandolins are lovingly handcrafted with premium tonewoods and time-honored traditional methods.
Individually hand-crafted using time-honored methods & premium hand-carved solid tonewoods. Solid Adirondack Spruce Top, solid Highly-flamed Maple back & sides. Ebony fingerboard & adjustable ebony bridge with F-style body with F-holes for warm, ringing tones & excellent sound projection.
