Today, we're very pleased to offer this Eastman MD915-SB F-Style Acoustic Mandolin w/ Hard Foam Case! It has never been owned and is a demo model that has been very gently handled by customers here in our store. A few tiny, barely visible surface scratches can be detected upon close inspection, but they're so insignificant, we could not capture them in any photos. In otherwise perfect condition! Very minor cosmetic imperfections equal HUGE savings! These tiny finish issues don't detract from the sheer beauty of these solid woods, especially the insanely flamed maple back and sides! This mandolin just SINGS, and is a joy to play. The instrument you see is the one you will receive! Eastman Mandolins, Mandolas and Mandocellos have become the instruments of choice for many professional musicians as well as musicians who play solely for their personal enjoyment. Eastman Mandolins are available in the two traditional body shapes, the A-style (teardrop/ European style), and the F-style (bluegrass style). Both body styles are available in oval hole and F-hole models.
The mandolin of choice for traditional bluegrass and country players, Eastman F-Style Mandolins are lovingly handcrafted with premium tonewoods and time-honored traditional methods.
Individually hand-crafted using time-honored methods & premium hand-carved solid tonewoods. Solid Adirondack Spruce Top, AAA Solid Highly-flamed Maple back & sides with Ebony fingerboard & adjustable ebony bridge. F-style body with F-holes for warm, ringing tones & excellent sound projection. Beautiful hand rubbed Varnish.
