Custom Gibson (model not known) 1930 Maple (stained "dark mahogany")

Gibson 1930 Banjo
After researching the serial number inside the resonator (9597-21) and gathering as much information as possible on this beautiful instrument, here is a description of this banjo:
Manufactured in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1930, and constructed of maple wood (which is stained “dark mahogany”), this prewar Gibson banjo was originally a 4 string tenor banjo from the Golden Years (1918-1938).  It appears that at some point the neck and peghead were changed.  With the current neck, it became a 5-string banjo and has a natural Ebony fingerboard, 22 nickel frets and mother of pearl inlay designs.  (*Please see photos. Fyi, the photos show a large black screw/nut on the upper right portion of the neck, but the screw/nut is part of the telescopic stand the banjo is resting on.)   The pot has a one-piece flange.  The banjo was refinished prior to my husband owning it, and the resonator has appliqués of shell designs on the back (please see photos).
My husband collected a number of banjos over the years, and he’s had
this one for about 10-12 years.  I've tried to include as many photos as possible for you to see this banjo's beautiful condition and that there are no obvious scratches.
