Custom Koaloha RARE EARLY Concert Ukulele 1995

Incredibly Rare & Early 1995 Concert Ukulele.  We all know Koaloha's 5 point crown head stocks and "Matsubi" sound-holes.  Very early on, however, a few three pointed crown headstocks with round sound hole were also made.  This is a very rare example of one of those beginning Koaloha Ukuleles.  The company started in 1995 making this a genuine piece of Ukulele history.  It's tone and playability rival all of the others in my collection.  To call it a gem doesn't do it justice.  It was originally purchased at The Island Ukulele Co. at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. and purchased by me at auction.

Tried as I may, I have not been able to find one serious issue with this ukulele.  It is absolutely beautiful other than the most superficial wear and spots where the finish has been worn off the fretboard.  Since I have had it, it has been well cared for and stored with a humidifier.
This instrument is in amazing shape and plays like a hawaiian day dream. Sweet sounding, but loud and fun!  Playability:
The Koa body is aging so nicely on this instrument resulting in a lovely, warm classic Hawaii sounding ukulele.
The action is great although like most older instruments a professional set-up would improve it's performance.
Suitable for serious collector, professional or dedicated passionate strummer/picker
