Product Description

Vintage Vega Mandolin in good condition. There is a long crack down the back see photo, that is repaired and stable. Some of the inlay is missing on the pickgaurd. There are normal scratches nicks, finish check and wood checks. Normal wear and tear for a instrument of this vintage. The mandolin plays great and has a nice warm resonate sound. Top is spruce, sides and back are Brazilian rosewood. Tuners work well, bridge and tailpiece are original. The herringbone inlay and binding is in great condition. Very nice inlay work on the fretboard. The headstock has a hole drilled in it most likely from where some one hung it on the wall.
