Here's another fine bass that provides all the tone & playability that we have come to expect Roscoe at a more moderate price point. The ash body provides plenty of warmth, punch & top end snap while the quartersawn wenge fingerboard focuses the mids. This bass has a big crisp articulate sound with plenty of bottom but no mud. It sounds great fingerstyle or slapped and at 7 pounds 14 ounces it's easy on the back & shoulders.

Roscoes are a breeze to play. The bodies are well balanced & elegantly sculpted making them not only beautiful but easy to wear even for extended periods. At 7 pounds 14 ounces this one is right in the comfort zone. Bartolini soapbar pickups & 3 band 18 volt preamp with push/pull mid frequency shift give the player total tonal control. Subtly fine tuning the natural sound of the instrument or altering it drastically are equally simple. The 24 frets are perfectly crowned making playability a breeze & access to the upper register is effortless. Hand carved graphite nut & black Hipshot hardware ice the cake.
