This is a new series from Fender that is replacing the older american deluxe instruments. The Elite Series improves upon the deluxe by upgrading the pickups and design of the instrument and propelling this series into the for front of the american made fenders. This bass is all about tone and it has tons of it. The ash body just reinforces that tone. The active electronics allows you to go active or passive at a flick of the switch. And the much improved neck adjustment makes this an easy to fix on the fly.
