NEW USA Lakland 55-94 Custom Deluxe Premium Flamed Redwood 5 String Bass with a rosewood fingerboard. This top is unique and very cool and collectable. Midlothian Music hand selects these custom bodies and here they are. Nine months wait for one bass to be manufactured. Midlothian Music is an authorized Lakland Dealer. The 55-94 is Laklands design, made in Chicago IL. This bass has a 35" scale length with a 1.81" nut with. Slim taper, feels like defined fender in a way but with a much better feel. Quarter Sawn Rock Hard Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. Birdseye dot markers add a beautiful touch. The 55-94 is an active bass with the hand wound Lakland pickups and Lakland LH3 preamp. This active system offers the power without overdriving the amp. You still get clean tone with the controls at full power. The body is swamp ash with the premium redwood overlay. Very low action and perfect playing condition.
