Crafted in the Ibanez Premium facility in Indonesia, the SR1805E shares many of the high-end appointments of the much-respected Prestige line. This extraordinary attention to detail manifests itself in features like super-smooth hand-crimped frets, and the Ibanez Mono-Rail bridge, an ingeniously designed unit that kills off unwanted sympathetic vibrations while isolating and optimizing the vibration of the plucked string.

Atop the SR1805E's Mahogany body is an exhibition of excellence in woodcraft. Inside the Rosewood "wings," a layer of Walnut emerges, complemented by center strips of flamed Maple and Wenge. The instrument has a silky, vintage, flat natural finish that brings out the quality of the wood, and the smooth, solid, easy playing feeling of a five-piece Wenge/Bubinga neck.
