Custom Banchetti Practical Bass 1989 Mahogany/Walnut

Here is an early version of Paris Banchetti's Practical Bass. This bass has ben praised by professionals in the music field for its extreme tonal versatility. There is an Underwood Transducer mounted on the sides of the bridge and pick-up box equipped with an Alembic Activator located between the lower side of the fingerboard. The Alembic Activator sounds amazing with its own preamp, volume and tone control. The box is installed over a wooden reel in order to change its height and placement. This enables players to choose from acoustic-like sounds, jazz, precision and many others.

This particular Banchetti Bass is in great shape and well cared for. It was handmade in 1989 making it one of the earlier models after it’s original patent date of Mar 3, 1987. The bass includes a power source and gig bag!
