I am selling my super clean and rare ca 1967 Conqueror Bass Made in Japan MIJ from my personal collection.

I purchased this bass when I was on tour close to 15 years ago. It was in a small music shop in Berkeley CA. Saw it and fell in love. Its the most unique violin bass I'v ever owned. It has a scroll neck, the shape is a little smaller than a hofner, and the most unique feature is the mute bar near the bridge of the bass. When you pull the lever up there is a bar with a foam pad that instantly mutes and gives you the classic "thump" similar to an upright and that 60's Beatles tone.

Its in excellent condition for its age (over 50 years old) and have maintained it professionally throughout the years. Recently got the bass set up with Roto Flat wounds.

There's something special about playing a vintage instrument that you don't get when you buy a newer model. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to come check out the bass.
