This used Gibson Mandolins - 1922 A-Jr. is in great shape for an over 90-year-old instrument. Gibson is known for making excellent mandolins from this time period, and this early 1922 piece is no exception. Known as the "bargain basement" model, this affordable A-Jr. mandolin is modest on the appointments, but still has that classic Gibson sound. Brown all over, the Adirondack top looks dark but still sounds bright after all these years. From the low neck angle construction era, this Gibson has a flat fingerboard and tiny frets commonly associated with this style. Minimal pick wear or fret use makes this all original mandolin a special find. New replacement hardshell case included. Serial# 69309
