Custom Leader Ukelele

This is one of the "Leader" range of ukuleles marketed by Eagle Music, Huddersfield a few years ago.  I have said it was made in China, but I don't really know that - I assume that it was certainly somewhere in the Far East.  I have upgraded the tuning pegs.  After playing it for a few years I thought that the intonation was out, which it turned out was because of too great a distance between the nut and the first fret.  This was rectified expertly by Stuart Palmer, Electro Music, Doncaster, who extended the nut forward slightly over the fingerboard.  Intonation is now spot on.  A lovely little instrument, but my main instrument is guitar and I am downsizing!
