Custom Gibson A2 1919 Brown

This is a very nice example of the A2 Gibson mandolin. The finish has the usual spider web lacquer cracking but is also not worn much at all. It is a beautiful condition 'old' finish. The neck is not worn either and the original frets in good condition. The original tuners work well also. There are no cracks or splits in the body and very modest wear overall. Obviously the pick guard is toast but is included for those who may want to have one duplicated from the original. The pick guard hardware could be reused with some clean up. The top is in good condition with a bit of the sinking at the bridge that is typical with these mandolins. It plays well and sounds bright and strong. The original 'suicide' case is with it as well. Thanks for looking.
