Custom Fender Telecaster Bass 1968 With RARE Original Black Finish

For consideration a beautiful ALL original custom color black 1968 Telecaster bass. This rare piece is in excellent condition. Neck date June 68 C. Very little wear on the flamey fat neck and fretboard. Some minor wear on sides and back, and a few nicks and minimal wear on back. This bass oozes sublime punchy tone. The neck is straight and plays wonderfully. Serial # 222525. Most of the finish checking resides under the pick guard, which is the only unoriginal part. The original pickguard (as is common knowledge with 99% of these)degraded and was unusable. The neck pocket shows the original neck date mirrored on the back, another indication of it's original finish. The original pickup has been rewound professionally.I have another original 1968 pickup if the rewound  one is a deal breaker and would switch out at no additional charge.
