MTD US CRB PROTOTYPE! Circa 2011? This is truly a unique piece from the mind behind so many modern bass designs and innovations. To our knowledge, only 3 or 4 of these exist. Michael Tobias built these as design prototypes for the Kingston CRB's available today. As you can tell from the pictures, this bass is very different from what became of the production Kingston CRB. The CRB was Michael Tobias' interpretation of the Precision bass design. This PJ is the ONLY MTD US that I have personally seen with the PJ pickup configuration.This bass is pristine, and very lightweight. Only the slightest shine around the controls, and a small pencil tip ding on the top and near the upper horn (impossible to photograph) betray this as preowned.
