Lone Star Guitarron

If you're looking for the backbone of the Mariachi band, here you go. The guitarron mexicano. This is an acoustic bass traditionally used for Mariachi styled music. However, you might find an interesting use for it in the studio.

The strings are tuned to A-D-G-C-E-A, and are commonly plucked two at a time to produce octaves.

This has been a floor demo, hanging on a stand, in our store for a while now. It is in good condition with some scratches here and there--the most notable pictured. One string was replaced with an electric bass guitar string, but is the proper gauge.
