Custom Fender Jazz Bass 1965 Custom Finish - Stu Cook Creedence Clearwater Revival (Revisited)

From the private collection of Stu Cook, this custom hand painted Fender 1965 Jazz bass was used with Creedence Clearwater Revival. Stu used this bass in the studio on various tracks. The bass was hand painted by Terry Wilson. Comes with a letter (provenance from Stu) and photo of Stu with the bass.

Stu Cook has provided the underpinning for some of the classic American Rock ‘n’ Roll for over fifty years, he is one of a small handful of electric bassists who have helped define the genre and truly deserving of the legend status that his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame suggests. Besides keeping the flame burning for CCR, Stu was also a member of the country-rock group Southern Pacific and the acclaimed Don Harrison Band.
