Custom Oscar Schmidt Appalachian 1960s-1970s Honey Sunburst

Late 1960s or early 1970s Oscar Schmidt autoharp.  Model: Appalachian.  Rock maple pin block.  Original form-fitted case in very good condition.  Tuning wrench.  Plastic thumb pick and steel finger picks.

Oscar Schmidt still makes autoharps albeit not this model.  Autoharps sell for $350 to $800 and using these woods and this finish on the more expensive instruments. 

Everything works as it should.  This instrument is nearly mint condition with only finish wears along one side as shown in pictures. I ordered two pictures last to show these wear.  I think these are from movement in the case not a player scratching it.

I included a link to Mother Maybelle Carter playing an Oscar Schmidt Appalachian autoharp at the Opry in 1970 (honey sun burst, too).  another interesting musician playing the Appalachian model (but a 21 chord configuration) is Bill Connolly.
