Greg Deering's first professional banjo design from 1979 has become a loyal classic in the Deering lineup. Made with a walnut neck and resonator but with a maple rim, you get both the warmth of walnut and the brightness of maple.  Built with Deering's genuine bell bronze tone ring, three-ply, violin-grade maple rim and one piece, cast, zinc resonator flange, this banjo has an excellent tone that is uniquely Deering.
