Custom Fender Precision Bass 1968 Olympic white

Never thought I'll sell this one but I have a custom sadowsky that is near its completion. I will most likely regret selling this but it's not getting the use it deserves as I play 5 strings mainly.

Now this is not an all original 1968 precision bass, hence the price. But it has a lot of the original parts!

The body on the original bass was falling apart and in ruins so I actually got MJT guitars to make a reproduction single piece ash body that is both light an resonant like he original. It is finished in aged Olympic white with the right amount of checking to match the neck.
The body weighs 3lbs 14oz (total bass weight 7lbs 13oz)
The finish is a period correct nitrocellulose finish. Very thin application.

The neck is all original and is a B profile neck. Rosewood is nice and dark. Tuners sand screws are all original including neck plate and screws. He bass has been refretted by Mike Lull back in 2013 and the bass has also been plek'd and set up by the man himself! Neck is dead Straight with plenty of rooms for adjustment. Truss rod is functional and in great condition.

Pickups and pots are original. Pots date to 1966. The output jack has been changed to a switchcraft jack few years ago.

Pickguard and shield is not original but all the screws are original. The thumbrest is original as well.

Bridge and strap buttons are all original as well.

I do not have the original case

Any questions please ask! Im not in a huge rush or nor do I need to sell this but I believe it deserves a better home than sitting on the stand.
