Custom Rickenbacker 4001 1980 Jetglo

This is a 1980 Rickenbacker 4001 in Jetglo. Everything is original on the bass except for the bridge pickup, which has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan pickup because the original one went dead. I still have the original pickup that will be included upon purchase of the bass.

I am the second owner and this bass has barely been played. The previous owner had kept it in its case for over 30 years before I bought it. There is a minor amount of buckle rash on the back, but it is not noticeable unless you look very closely.

This is the same model and color that Rush's Geddy Lee, Deep Purple's Roger Glover, and Metallica's Cliff Burton had. Other notable 4001 players include Chris Squire, Lemmy, and Paul McCartney.
