This solid body Fender electric mandolin, or Mandocaster as they are often called, is in like new condition, and still has the plastic on the pickup and pickguard (although you can see a little has started lifting off in the photos). If you are looking at this listing, you have probably already seen what many mandolin players are doing with these. Perfect for playing jazz, country, rock, or alt. Play mandolin licks, or use to sound more like a guitar. Equipped with a standard 1/4" output jack, volume control, tone control, sunburst finish, and setup with .009, .011, .024w, and .032w strings and tuned E, A, D, G (other strings and tunings can be used.
