Product Description

This is a dog of a 1971 Fender musicmaster Short Scale Bass...It looks like it has about 3 million miles on it, but it is a GREAT player. Serial #313576

Here's the bad stuff...knobs and strap buttons have been changed...missing the thumbrest, and one thumbrest hole has been enlarged through the pickguard. Unoriginal, but old decent hardshell case...and it is really beat up!

The good news is the pickup and all electronics are original and work great...and the bass itself is an absolute monster player with great tone and really great playability..

This falls in the category of, "The good instruments got played"!
