Brief information about this increasingly rare folk instruments :

Rebec belongs to the family of string-stringed instruments.

You can play primarily on three main strings, others have resound function.

 Information on its use in Western Europe are 8-9 century. For Bulgaria is extremely popular, both for solo performance and for accompaniment in folk songs.

The sound of Gadulka comes from the movement of the bow on the strings. The shape resembles a pear carved from wood - mostly cherry. It is divided into two parts and goals better is selected for processing.
