Product Description

First year for Gibson's SG-bodied electric bass so it has black plastic pickup cover. Cherry lacquer on Honduran mahogany, unbound Brazilian board with dot inlays, light weight, plays well, and has a distinctive sound that cannot be replicated on a Fender or a Rickenbacker. The bass has a replaced older nickel bridge, a modification done for intonation correction purposes. Very cool vintage for the price. Comes with an early 70’s hard case.
