Product details

Fender, post CBS buyout, developed the Coronado series guitars and basses to compete with Gibson and Gretsch in the semi-hollow market. That experiment lasted until 1971. The Wildwood series Coronado guitars and basses used heavily grained Beechwood from trees that had been injected with dye years before harvest, hence the unique color of the wood. This one is in great condition with tiny bit of buckle rash on the back, but the top is very clean.
