Custom Fender Telecaster Bass 1974 Blonde

I purchased here in Minneapolis in 1993, used. I played live once. I then have kept stored in my home. I have used it to record in a smoke free home studio.  I believe the guitar to be all original based on the serial numbers and pots and the fact I haven't changed anything.  

Based on the serial number and the codes on the pots this is a 1974 Telecaster bass.  I have a pair of keys for the case and they work to lock the case.  The case color appears consistent with other 1974 fender bass cases.   The guitar weights approx 10.5 lbs.  

It has a beautiful straight birds eye maple neck.  Over the years I have looked and never found a neck with the amount of birds eye.  

The frets are worn however the bass is playable, there are no dead spots or buzzing.  

The pickup was checked when I original got the bass, it measured approximately 25Mohms if I recall.  The tones I am able to get with the bass are no different then when I first puchased.    

The bridge cover still has the original padding, however the padding is dry.  I have kept the padding intact only to maintain the originality of the bass.  

I have worked to take as many pictures that show the condition of the bass, all the nicks and chips are the same as when I purchased.   I have more pictures that I can send if requested.
