Slingerland Maybell #24 Banjo Ukulele. 
Slingerland was a Chicago based firm and manufactured what many consider the best mid-priced vintage banjo uke out there. Back in the 1930s, the #24 sold for a whopping $12.00 according to their catalogue. At half the price of a comparable Gibson banjo uke today they are sought after both here and abroad. Lovely walnut construction, full 8" POT, 1/8" rolled steel tone ring, 13 and 3/4" scale, 1920s to 30s, pearl position markers, fingerboard, new vellum, new Grover bridge, cleaned, polished and set up with A. Eastwood's Brightone/Cleartone strings. Newish spacers between rim and resonator, previous dowel reset.
