Dropped the price. This bass is an amazing instrument, easy to play, and sounds amazing!!!

Ok, I spent a long time waiting to find this exact bass. It's my birth year, its a maple board, it's unlined fretless, it's a Pbass. And 2 years ago I found it here. It's all there, I have the pup and bridge covers, the original case is in amazing shape with one small sticker on it. The bass is in really good shape, just little finish scratches that I can't even photograph. The hardware is tarnishing a bit, but otherwise this is an amazing 44 year old bass! It sounds and plays amazing! The pickguard did it's thing and shrunk a bit causing a crack at the input (like most fenders this age and older) but that's it. Truss rod adjusts and the action can go low low low! Pots date to 42nd week of 73. Pups are the right numbers for 73, it is legit! OH and can I say this, 8lbs even, on the digital scale. Just 8lbs. It's light, it sings, it growls, it is a beast!

I thought I wanted this as my "forever" bass to occasionally play, and keep as an investment. I find myself not liking the idea of being a "collector" and since i have a fretless P that is my main player, this just sits. It's time to let it go. I have perfect feedback on ebay and talkbass and am happy to chat.
