This listing is for a Gibson 2017 EB Bass T. The bass is in excellent condition. There are a couple of cosmetic blemishes on the back edge, but nothing too bad, and certainly nothing that affects it’s playability.

This bass is Made in the USA with all the Gibson bloodlines. This is the low end done Gibson style, with optimum power and playability. The sale includes the bass and a really cool original Gibson padded gig bag with the original documents.

One of the unique features on this bass is that when you pull up on the pickup knob the humbucker pickup goes into single coil mode. So, tone-wise you can have 2 humbuckers, 2 single coils, a humbucker in the bridge position and a single coil in the neck position, or vice versa. These four different pickup configurations give you a wide tonal palette with just a push or pull of two knobs.

The 2017 EB 4 Bass is the most extreme and improved redesign of Gibson's EB Bass line yet. Loaded with high-quality components like EB Rhythm and Lead humbuckers, a Babicz Full Contact bridge, and Grover tuners. The superbly resonant Swamp-ash body has been fully redesigned to offer amazing ergonomics and great access to the upper frets. The body is complemented by a glued-in Maple neck that is a dream to play. This is the low end done Gibson style, with optimum power and playability. It's delivered in a padded gig bag with a strap and polishing cloth.

Its asymmetrical double-cutaway body style is timeless, yet entirely original, and designed for forearm comfort and an ergonomic playing position whether seated or standing. The full-size, 34”-scale-length neck carries a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays.

The firm sonic foundation of the EB Bass is amplified via two of Gibson’s innovative new humbucking bass pickups, which offer extreme clarity and string definition even when thundering through a cranked bass stack.

A Babicz Full Contact bridge provides a rock-solid anchor at the body end for optimum resonance and sustain, complemented by efficient modern tuners.
