Wide hollow scaled down version of a full upright bass.
The hollow body picks up the true full acoustic sound opposed to a solid body. Neck is a full 3/4 scale 41.3". Beautiful Aspen wood body. Neck is Maple and Mahogany. Removable Neck for Airplane travel. Wenge Fingerboard. Quartersawn White Oak bridge. Wenge tailpiece. Lacquer sunburst finish. David Gage Realist Woody Professional Bridge Pickup. Adjustable Endpin. The bass has been expertly setup with no string buzz at all locations of the fingerboard. Brass nut for great sustain. Bass does not include case it will fit in large 88 keyboard case. I will ship in a oversize well padded box and insure for extra protection. Bass size: Body is 25" x 15" x 4" deep. Overall length is 58". My goal is to build an instrument that looks, plays, feels and sounds like an upright bass and still fits in a backseat of a car.
