Product Description

This is a one of a kind listing. In 1981 Strings and Things were on the cusp of building great Guitars and Basses. An ESP representative (Before they were selling ESP Instruments) was literally selling bodies and necks out of his car on the road. He met up with S&T here in Memphis and sold them his wares. This left handed Bass (It has been strung right handed) was a Prototype copy based on a 1957 P-Bass. It even has the original correct ESP neck plate on the back! It also has an ash body, maple neck and weighs only 7.6 lbs! It plays and sounds incredibly well! Great neck and the frets are fine. I will include the original pickups but they have been replaced with a Seymour Duncan Vintage Jazz and Razor Vintage P-Bass pickup. Only the pick guard and knobs were replaced. It still has the original pots as well! Beautiful Bass and I believe the pictures accurately represent it's cosmetic condition. Also included is a ST. Blues Tweed Case. This is an astute part of S&T ST Blues history and would make either a great collectible or player whichever you prefer. Thank YOU!
