 This Gibson A-50 Mandolin is in great shape and gives you the woody depth and chop only a vintage Gibson can provide.

 The Gibson vintage A styles offer unparalleled tone for the buck.  With similar tonal construction to the more expensive F style Gibsons and a pair of f-holes, this A-50 will easily handle a Country jam, but also has the versatility to play Blues, Folk, Celtic and other traditional styles.

The serial number seems to date it to the late 1950s or early 1960s and cosmetically this A-50 is in great shape.  Other than the minor play wear you'd expect from a mandolin that's been played and cared for over the last 50+ years, it doesn't have any major cosmetic issues to speak of.

 Playability is good, with nice action all along the neck.  

 It comes with a quality hardshell case and will be well-packed and insured.
