Vintage 1960's BlackJack Hollowbody Short Scale Violin Bass MIJ
ConditionThis bass is in good working condition but has some minor structural issues. There are two cracks in the body off of the bass side. One is at the binding seam off the upper bout, and the other is in the side just before the lower bout. The frets show some wear, but are level and do not buzz. The relief and action are low, and the bass plays very well for its age. The electronics are fully functional, and are free from crackle or distortion.
CosmeticsThere are some chips, nicks, dings, scuffs, and scratches in the finish. The headstock is a bit worn, with chips on the corners and edges. There are some finish cracks on the body and some buckle rash on the backside. There is a large chip just off the bass side of the fingerboard towards the nut. Please see the photos for full details.
