I've gigged with this bass lightly, no major dings or bruises. Currently strung with Elixir nickel lights. Weighs almost 9lbs, though I haven't weighed it on a digital scale.

The tone is focused and very adaptable. Perfect for a variety of styles. Superb craftsmanship, easy playability, smooth neck and the famous Spector curved body NS design.
