Custom Martin 5 String Acoustic Bass B5-40 5 String Bass 1995 Natural

So here is an rare find. Early-Mid 90's 5-STRING Martin Bass... Yes-5! With the original case and several sets of strings.

In very good cosmetic shape with very little wear. It walked into the shop, and the owner says his father won it in Bass Payer Magazine in 94-95. Played very little and spend most of its life in the case. No paper-work, and I cant find much info on these to be honest. A call to Martin and they could only say "there were very few made", but no specific number. There seemed to be an issue with the tension- imagine.

This particular bass shows a small hump/rise under the bridge, but no structural issues (Martin Warranty Repairman). It has several small dings on top, The case hand has come un-sewn a little and shows a little more wear.

Model is stamped on as: B5-40 and the Serial number is 512340.
