Product Description

I am selling a Jerry Jones Longhorn bass that I purchased around 1998 at Bass Northwest in Seattle. Jerry Jones instruments were made in Nashville, TN from 1988 to 2011 (when Jerry retired). Their value has been growing steadily since. I don't know the exact year of this bass as it seems the serial number sticker was removed before I purchased it. Based on data from the Jerry Jones website, I estimate it was built between 1990 and 1993.

It's an awesome little bass, extremely light, balanced, great tone, very good intonation and super playable neck. It's strung with GHS Stainless Steel Precision Flatwound (.045, .060, .075, .095), which suit this bass very well. This model includes the wooden bridge saddle, which is key to getting "that-sound" on this bass. It has Dunlop Strap-Locks installed, and the original strap buttons will be in the case too. The bass is in excellent playing condition, some nicks and chips here and there (as shown in photos).
