Fender (Japanese Copy) '62 Precision Bass 1970's 3 Color Sunburst.
This unknown brand P bass copy plays and sounds great. I did not disassemble to investigate further. It has some cracks in the finish as expected for an instrument of this age but the wood is all in excellent shape. The neck is surprisingly comfortable and smooth. The frets feel fairly polished for what was probably an inexpensive bass when new. There is no visible wear to the fretboard. The frets have almost no wear. The pictures show the string height at the 12th fret. This appears to have been well cared for or played very little. The rear bridge cover is missing but all other parts ar in tact. The original pickup sounds great. The input jack has issues and needs to be replaced. The tone and volume mnobs work. Overall, this is a very nice Japanese bass from the 70's. If you replace the input jack, you will have a nice bass for gigging.
