For sale is this gorgeous 1998 Made In America Fender Jazz Deluxe....only one owner.

This is a sought after more modern era Jazz Deluxe, and this one is a gorgeous candy apple translucent (wood grain is visible) subtle red burst (it's a little hard to see the burst in a lot of the photos - it's darker or lighter around the edges, depending on the angle you're looking at).

I bought it in '99 from a friend who worked at Fender back in those days, and it was direct from the factory because it had a few small nicks/blemishes from Fender (which are all pictured here), but aside from those the finish is mint. It has barely been played in all of those years and has been kept safe in my pro studio since then. No buckle rash, etc. (Note: The neck looks like it has two tones on the back -- that's the original grain pattern of the wood itself).

The reason it's barely been used is that my tiny hands are so damn freaking particular - there are very few basses that I can comfortably play, no joke. Everyone else who has played it loves it to death.

All the hardware and electronics are in absolutely perfect shape. This is a stunning bass that plays beautifully and sounds wonderful.

***The case is a BRAND NEW Fender hard case*** It has not been used aside from storing the bass for the past couple of months -- I bought it in January.
