From Warren Yates: "The inspiration for this model came from the late 1950s through the early 1960s RB-100 models. These banjos were not originally made with tone rings in them. After we rebuilt a few of them, we quickly realized the treasure in them. It was like stepping back in time and continuing a missed process, leaving a banjo equal to many of the old 1930s prewar flatheads. We had no choice but to built our own model."

High Quality Mahogany Neck, Yates Pre-War Style Resonator and "Standard Rim".

"The neck on this model is a little more narrow than the rest of our models to match that old feel and sound. Finish is Distressed for that old look, feel and sound. Flat Rosewood Fingerboard, Mother of Pearl Inlay. Light Weight Flange. Narrow Frets (worked down and recrowned for easier playing and pull-offs). Old Grover style Yates Bridge. Yates 50s Style Tailpiece. Yates made three ply maple rim

Distressed Nickel Plated Metal Parts. Three fifth string spikes (7th, 8th & 9th frets)-Yates No Hole Nickel Plated Tone Ring-Waverly two band Tuners with Ivoroid Buttons-Single steel coordinator rod.

The resonator for this model is mahogany on the outer band and straight maple on the back panel with a sunburst finish. Includes TKL hardshell case.
