1996 Taylor AB1 Klein Bass Natural

The Taylor AB1 bass was produced in very small quantities. They are considered to be the finest acoustic bass ever produced by many bass connoisseurs. Their large jumbo body produces one of the truest deep bass tones we have ever heard out of an acoustic instrument. They have an extended scale for added volume and string tension, and the electronics provide a nice balance of versatility and simplicity.

Top: Solid Sitka spruce

Back: Imbuia (also known as Brazilian walnut)

Sides: Imbuia (also known as Brazilian walnut)

Neck: Mahogany with adjustable truss rod

Fingerboard: Ebony

Number of frets: 24

This bass plays like a dream with low action and no buzz. The sound is unbelievable plugged in or unplugged. It is a joy to play.  

The bass is in near mint condition because of a few small dents (very minor pencil tip size) around the edge (not noticeable unless inspecting the bass). In fact everyone who looks at this bass says it is mint.

The bass comes with the original paperwork and warranty registration pamphlet, and original soft shell case.
